Mounting Instructions
Step 1 - Remove Factory Trim Piece
Working your trim removal tool from the top to the bottom of the lamp, disconnect the two (2) retention clips holding the lamp to the fender.
Once the retention clips are disconnected simply lift up and away from the vehicle to pull the trim piece off. Then, remove any dirt that may have gotten behind it to give us a clean surface to mount our new light.
Step 2 - Fender Liner Bolt Removal
Start by removing two (2) 8mm bolts towards the front of the vehicle.
Then, use a 10mm socket to remove two (2) bolts in the middle of the fender.
Finally, using the trim removal tool, remove the four (4) plastic clips that line the outside of the fender liner.
Step 3 - Disconnecting The Factory Signal
Pull down your inner fender, and locate the signal connector.
Start by sliding the red locking tab back, and then disconnect it.
Step 4 - Routing New Wiring
Route the wires from your new fender light to the factory connector.
Step 5 - Tapping The Factory Harness
If you would like your light to function as a supplemental turn signal you will be tapping the red wire to pin two (2).
For constant power, tap the red wire to pin four (4) - this will instead function as a supplemental side marker.
Tap your black wire to pin six (6) for your ground on both options.
Once you have decided and fully tapped your wires, plug in your light to the factory harness and test for functionality.
Tip: If the light fails to light up, check to make sure you have tapped the correct wire. Then, check to make sure the tap is fully installed and is making contact with the metal portion of your wires.
Step 6 - Installing New Light
Peel back the adhesive liner on your new fender light and fit it in place.
Repeat those steps to install your other light on the opposite side of the vehicle.
Then reverse the steps we used to take it apart to put everything back together!
This completes the installation. Now enjoy your new FORM Lighting LED Jeep Fender Lights!
