- T25 Torx driver

Installation Instructions
Step 1 — Unlock the spare tire lock
Using a T40 Torx driver, rotate the spare tire lock to the unlocked position. The arrow indicator should point to the unlocked icon.
Step 2 — Remove the spare tire lock
Pull the spare tire lock off of the rear camera mount.
Step 3 — Remove the spare tire
Remove the spare tire lug nuts using a 21mm socket, then remove the spare tire from the tailgate.
Step 4 — Remove the rear cover screws
Remove the seven T25 Torx screws securing the rear cover to the third brake light mount. Keep track of screw lengths—there are five short screws and two long screws.
Step 5 — Remove the rear cover
Carefully remove the rear cover from the third brake light mount to access the factory third brake light assembly.
Step 6 — Remove the factory third brake light screws
Remove the two T25 Torx screws from the bottom of the factory third brake light.
Step 7 — Disconnect the factory connector
Depress the locking tab on the connector and pull to disconnect the factory third brake light wiring.
Step 8 — Install the LED third brake light
Install the 2018-2026 Jeep JL Wrangler LED 3rd Brake Light using the provided screws.
Step 9 — Connect the wiring
Plug the vehicle connector into the 2018-2026 Jeep JL Wrangler LED 3rd Brake Light connector until it clicks into place.
Step 10 — Reinstall the rear cover and test
Set the rear cover back onto the vehicle and test function. The third brake light should illuminate when the brake pedal is pressed. Once verified, reinstall the rear cover. (Tip: The longer screws are installed in the bottom-most holes.)
Step 11 — Reinstall the spare tire
Reinstall the spare tire and tighten the lug nuts securely.
Step 12 — Reinstall and lock the spare tire lock
Reinstall the spare tire lock and use a T40 Torx driver to lock it in place. Turn the arrow indicator to the locked icon.
